About this product
It has been observed that patients suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease suffer from a deficiency in some chemicals important in the functioning of the brain, including acetylcholine.
The treatment inhibits the effect of the acetylcholinesterase enzyme, which inhibits the process of breaking down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine inside the brain, thus prolonging and increasing its effect on the nerves, which helps relieve symptoms of the disease
Dosage and method of use:
The usual dose: The starting dose is one tablet of 5 mg once a day
It is recommended to take the dose before bedtime. The dose is gradually increased according to the state of health, at a rate of 10 mg after four weeks of using the drug
The drug can be taken with or without food
If a dose is forgotten, the dose is taken as soon as it is remembered, and it is cautioned to take a double dose to make up for the forgotten dose
If you stop using the drug for more than a week, you should refer to the doctor before reviewing the use of the drug
