Amilo tablets for the treatment of high blood pressure. Amilo drug is used in the treatment of high blood pressure, prevention and treatment of angina pectoris. It contains the active substance amlodipine, which works to relax the muscle cells in the arteries, allowing the vessels and arteries to widen and reducing blood pressure in the blood vessels.
Amlodipine causes the muscle cells in the walls of the arteries to relax. This allows the body’s arteries to widen, reducing the pressure within the blood vessels. Therefore, amlodipine can be used to treat high blood pressure, as it increases oxygen delivery to cells in patients with vasospastic angina.
Dosage and method of use:
Hypertension: 5 mg per day orally, may be increased by 2.5 mg per day every 7-14 days; Do not exceed 10 mg per day.
Angina pectoris and coronary artery disease: 5-10 mg orally per day.
