Amaryl for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It consists of glimepiride, a sulfonylurea drug, and it is taken orally.

Dosage and method of use:
The usual dose: 1 mg is taken once daily before or with breakfast, and after 1-2 weeks, the dose is gradually increased by 1-2 mg according to the health condition.
Final dose: It is determined according to the continuous analyzes and the body’s response to the drug.
The maximum dose should not exceed 8 mg during the day.
The doctor’s instructions must be adhered to, the prescribed dose, and in the event of a forgotten dose, it must be taken as soon as it is remembered, unless the time for the next dose is approaching.
