Amosar Forte Tablets contain losartan and hydrochlorothiazide, both of which help lower blood pressure in different ways.
Losartan works by blocking the angiotensin II receptors. Angiotensin II, a substance present in the body, stimulates the constriction of blood vessels, thus raising blood pressure. By inhibiting this substance, blood pressure drops directly.
Hydrochlorothiazide also acts as a diuretic and thus helps the body get rid of excess fluid.
